i just went to a honda dealer to go see how much main and rod bearings would cost and guy said i need to know what color the main bearings are. i have a 1990 acura integra gs with a b18a. how do you check for that? any help will be greatly appreciated!! thanks

Why would what color they are effect the cost of them? Are green bearings more expensive then brown? I seriously doubt it. Anyways I think the serial # on your block has something to do with it. But if not on your mains there should be little codes that say what bearings were used on what main(and probably rods as well). I don't know I don't use honda bearings.

 

doesnt effect the cost but effect which one i have to get. thanks for the help though
