Default 200 whp with ls/vtec

My cousin hopes on breaking 200whp with his setup consisting of:

b18b block
balanced rotating assembly
p30 pistons
stock head gasket (might go 2 layer)
pr3 head
race port & polish
type r outer valve springs with portflow inners and titanium retainers
type r valves
skunk2 stage 2 cams
skunk2 intake manifold
type r throttle body
270 or 310 injectors (hasn't decided)
dc jdm 4-1 header with 2.5 carsound cat and 2.5 inch exhaust
p28 Hondata tuned

I left out some minor stuff. Hopes on hitting mid 13s with slicks in his 2000 civic si coupe. What do you guys think?

Depends on who builds it and who tunes it. I would mill the head and install some hi compression valves to get the compression a bit higher. That will make the 200 mark alot easier to attain.

The head is milled i left that out, and he might go with the 2 layer head gasket if more compression is needed. We are in CA so we have to keep the compression reasonable since it is daily driven.

Change the header, the JDM 4-1 is what I have and its very restricting for cars that want over 200 wheel.

Sell it and if you don't ahve alot more money get a Toda header. IF you DO have alot more money get a smsp or hytech.

Also go with the 310 cc injectors. With proper tuning and these injectors you will prolly get 200-205 wheel with the JDM 4-1, but thats a maybe.

With a better header I say you could hit 210 wheel. good tuning makes a world of difference though.
