ok, so i got the whole damn thing torn apart and i'm gettin pissed. i've taken out god know how many nuts. i've dropped the colum and the frikin pedal assem. still will not come out. i've taken off the obvious nuts that hold it to the fire wall (5 or so) and the 2 nuts and 2 bolts that hold up the colum.

i can see that there is a 2 1/2 inch bold that holds up the brake pedal, this is what the pedal pivits on. this will not come out. the head end is blocked by a bracket the holds up the steering colum, this bracked is welded to the car. i can move the gas pedal side of the assembly a little but thats it. please help me.

the car is a 88 crx 5 speed and the clutch pivit rod/bolt broke, i need to get the ****** this out so i can weld it. thanks guys.
