I think 22k for a clean newer example of arguably the best fwd car ever built is perfectly reasonable.

I disagree! $22,500 is reasonable!

It's called the 'sellers' market.' If you want one real bad, you'll do what you need to get it.

As long as someone is interested with these prices, that's how much they will be. People can say what they want.

Let the market determine the prices. If someone will pay 23k for a used one, then that's it. We live in a free enterprise society and just like stocks, its value is what the market will accept.
I wanted an ITR last year and was willing to pay 23k for lightly used one. Almost bought it but good thing I checked the insurance. My GSR itself is about 850 a year, an ITR will triple it. I can go with another company but I get good discount since its tied to my home insurance.
I would pay 25k for a used ITR if the insurance isn't so much. You can thank the thieves for this one.
I know someone in this board a while back who sold an ITR and got an S2k and his insurance hardly changed at all.

I have been watching and reading many posts and boards of people selling and buying and $22,500 is a GOOD market price for my R. There`s a post on itrca for a yellow 2001? R low miles in Florida and the owner wants $27,000. Ads are asking around 23,000 on the average for a 2000-2001.
I think the people that have a problem with (as I wrote in classifieds) are the people that want one and still can`t afford even a used one - not that there is anything wrong with that, that is until they start getting testy.
These are factory ready race cars not some everyday will-only-last-for-20-miles Ford Mustang.
