Default How do I fix 92 Civic Mirror?

My driver's side mirror is busted, and I want to fix or replace it myself. How do I? Or where can I find out how? Any feedback is much appreciated.

Here is a pretty good place, but you have to tell us what's the matter with it, and how it's busted.

If u want to replce the whole thing, there's a little triangular piece on the insde of the door opposite of your mirror... take that piece off there should be 3 10mm bolts i think... jus unbolts those and the mirror will come off

the triangle piece comes out easier if you remove the interir door panel first. take the time and do it right. you break less crap that way.

Monicles ABSOLUTELY right. Its the simplest thing in the world, but just unscrew your door panels first, its held on by a bolt hidden when the door is closed and the one in the handle. Otherwise, if im correct, you just have to yank the rest out of the little clamp holders. Remove the three bolts, make sure you have someone holding the mirror or support it, and do the reverse.

Hey! Thanks all. This will be my first time doing anything on my Civic (besides changing a tire). I know popping the door out is probably not that hard, but is there any manual or picture thing anywhere just so I can get a visual? I mean, I'm not afraid to just go in there and start working, but I figure the more info I have, the better.

Regarding how it's busted: the handle won't move the mirror up and down, and the bowl that holds the mirror won't stay in place.
