The injector resistor box has 1 yellow wire and 4 red wires.
The yellow wire is 12volts going into the resistor box and the red wires are 6-8volts coming out of the resistor box, running to each injector.

The obd1 injectors use 12volts instead of 6volts, so cut the yellow and red wires, then splice all 4 red wires onto the yellow wire.
You've now bypassed the resistor box and have 12volts going to each injector.

Understand?

yeap TY..that is soo easy man..thank you!!
now you have made me feel dumb....LOL
the yellow wire is ignition 1, and the resistor is that, a resistor..it reduces the voltage....call me a tool today...what does drinking red wine, and not drinking water what you wake up do to you?? yes. make you a dehydrated retard

can't wait to get home....put in the OBD1 injectors...have you ever heard of anyone using a heated O2 sensor in a OBD0 car?

Yes if they have converted the car to OBD1. Otherwise there is no point to running a heated oxygen sensor on an OBD0 car.

Doesnt he need to convert to obd1 before he can run the obd1 injectors? Just curious

nope..the injectors are not OBD specific..it has to do with impedence of the injectors...and man oh man, old OBD0 injectors are LOUD AS EF!!!

I should have clarified my response. There is no point in running heated O2 sensors if you have them in the stock location.

if you want to run a heated o2 you can convert to obd1 while still using the obd0 injectors and resisitor box
all you need is to get a conversion harness, 4wire o2 and wiring, then an obd1 distrubitor

LOL, i already know this..
heated sensor = free
injectors, and clips = free
not having to listen to loud injectors, laggy injectors = priceless

when doing my MPFI swap, i can use OBD1 injectors and run straight 12 V's to them and not use a resistor box?
I thought the injectors had to "fire" at certain times.

they still do, the resistor is just because they are low impedence injectors

Will obd2b injectors work with a obd1 ecu? the set up is a '90 crx si converted to obd1 with a '00 gsr motor converted to obd1. will the obd1 ecu accurately control the injectors?

You can't use the obd1 injectors with the obd0 resistor box. You either can run obd0 injectors with your resistor box, or remove the resistor box (as outlined above) and run the obd1/obd2 injectors.

I'm running obd2 GSR injectors in my CRX w/ obd1 b18c1. You just have to have the right injector clips for them to plug in..

I think that reply was in reponse to the guy who posted above you.

When the ecu fires an injector, all it does is ground it. It does not care what kind of injectors are being used.
Saturated injectors use 12volts, peak and hold injectors only use 6-8volts, so a resistor box is used to "remove" some of the volts before they reach the injector.

I've even used obd2 injectors with an obd0 swap before. Works fine.
