Default well the motor is in now & it is sweet

I still have a head rush, man that thing hauls!!!! Vtec feels like turbo to me!!!! jk but its a little boost. Man my heads still spinning. I'm not sure if its the new power, the vtec, or the freaking loud exhaust (not fully piped yet, its the header then the downpipe, then....yeah thats it until tomorrow lol).

My Tach gets burried!!!!! 7200 i'm scared to touch it. theres so little tach left. it ends at 8000, and the old redline was at 6200. Wooooo

I recommend this swap to everyone, if you got money, cuz i'm paying a kidney for it. I spend over 1000$ CDN for replacement parts. Engine Oil, Tranny Oil, Cap & Rotor, Ignition Wires, New Ignition Coil (mine died 10 mins after start up ) Oil Pan Gasket, Valve Cover Gasket, Axle Seals, Tube seals, Spark Plugs, Need a new Radiator too, New pipe to get exhaust fit up, Vtec Solenoid gasket & filter, Fuel Filter, Block heater (its cold up here), air intake (only came with the tube and no air filter box), Timing Belt, Waterpump, Auto Tensioner, Balancer Belt. Power Steering Fluid.

And Thats without any mods So good luck!, but man when you drop the pedal, its so worth it!

I wonder what the h22 to f22 ratio is on the accord forum? It seems like H22 is catching up quickly...

How did you find dealing with JDM source? I'm looking to go to them to get my engine as well (I'm in Winnipeg). Was all the money you spent on replacement parts really necessary? Or was it more a precautionary measure?

You wouldn't happen to be whiz's buddy would you? lol

Yeah but get ready to build the crap out of that thing if you boost. Cause boost is like crack of course people will say you can boost low without touching the internals, but i guarantee you that you will be tempted to turn up the boost. That's a promise.

I would say much more than that if you have the right turo and the other necessary parts with the right tuning. My shop here said I'd be running around 250HP with 10PSI on stock internals. My turbo is t3/t04e 57 trim .50/.63 . It's the ideal turbo for stock accords.

Anyone can boost their f22. Plus, there are more boosted accords than h22ed accords.
My last point would be that my h22 will be reliable forever. Your f22 with 8psi on stock internals could blow on your way to the store tomarrow.

Hahah. ******* people, do some homework. Ok here's a few hints for all of you who are saying F-series suck for boost. I just copied and pasted this from another forum I posted on about this exact same subject (for reference: http://forums.torontoaccords.c...art=0 )

If you are planning on turboing, F22 is the way to go. H22 has a higher compression rate therefore limiting your boost capabilities. F22 on the other hand has a lower compression ratio, allowing for more boost. Off the top of my head I think JDM H22 is 10.6:1or 11.0:1, whereas the F22 is somewhere around 9.0:1, maybe lower, don't quote me on those numbers.

On stock internals you can run 7 or 8 PSI safely on an F22 turbo setup. On beefed up internals 12 PSI is no dream, just more money. I'd check out some websites, Turbonectics comes to mind, I know for a fact they make a F22 kit, do your research, ask some local shops, email the kit makers. People are alot more willing to help then you may think. The worse they can do is not talk to you.

This question has been asked about a bajillion times. I'm not trying to be an ***, but don't talk like you know your **** when you quite obviously do not.</TD></TR></TABLE>

believe me, there are way way more h22'ed accords that are rollin instead of boosted accords on f22. Even if they are boosted they are still lasting. But anyways, enough arguing, I do give you props for the swap cause some people are all talk. Anyways just a forewarning , don't boost with stock internals

The Swap, For me......Well 2700 For Motor Trans Ecu W/LSD.......abour 800 for labour (i helped) and about 1000 for replacement parts, if you really want the swap to go smoothly there are a few things to consider, you can have a wiring harness made from the stock & jdm harness (takes a long time) or you could get a hasport one or some other company like that. You have to consider which power steering pump to use, and if you want AC, you have to make sure motor comes with power steering hose, etc......when i do my next swap i'll be prepared. there's lots to consider!

About the money thats in CDN Dollar add it all up divide by 1.27 and you get USD....i'd say add 500-600 in case there are any problems....i had to replace ignition coil, and radiator......so goodluck

you can always look around for a good deal on an H22 swap. it's pretty basic too. you can do it yourself if you have the right tools. i did my swap myself. replaced SOME parts, but i do wish i had money to replace a whole lot of other ****. wiring wasn't hard at all. i used stock harness and extended some wires + added like 4. it's fun. plus you learn a lot while doing it. congradulations on your swap man. i know how you feel, i drove my car for like 2 months without VTEC working until last week now i feel i've lived my life. i'll be ready to die when i boost

My jdm h22 swap with trans and obd2-obd1 conversion harness cost me 2128. You just need to search for a good deal.

Nice

The best is when you tell ppl who dont know about cars to watch the tach and you just bury the needle into the stopper. They are always like WTF are you doing. For that reason alone i will never get rid of my automatic cluster
