I wind out first gear no problem and then shift to second and wind that gear out and then when I shift to third and immediately floor it, it hesitates for a second or two and then picks up speed again (I have a soft spot where I don't accelerate). My rpms don't seem to go way up so I don't think my clutch is slipping. What is this?

Brand new clutch( Grip Force stage 1)
Brand new flywheel(11LB FLYWHEEL FROM JDM CONCEPTS)

Could it be that I didn't take it easy on my new flywheel(break it in) for a while and it has hot spots that could be causing the bogging or soft spot in acceleration.

Could it be I'm not getting enough fuel where I need it most and this is causing the stop in acceleration?

Its a 94 jdm gsr with lightweight crank pulley, short air intake, jdm type-r header, 2.25 exhaust, 11 lb flywheel, stage 1 clutch kit, in a 1998 civic.

random bogging, this happens to lots of people and it could be a xillion different things.

start wityh the cheap stuff, basics like fuel filter, spark plugs, distributor cap/rotor, o2 sensor, to name some possibilities.

 

Alright I'll check all of that. Just bought a fuel filter today. Gonna put that in tommorow and the only other thing that you listed that isn't new is the o2 sensor.
