Default stock dual springs good?

whats up i have a gsr head with stock dual valve springs (intake) could i take oem type r (exhaust) and use them and rev safely to 9000 rpms? or will it work ok with the type r's in there at all?... ive never really heard of anyone doing this or at least locally but i just thought id ask.

Thats getting scary, the itr outer and inners may go there, but for how long....Ive seen itr retainers break reving to high on them.

well i have ti-retainers i just dont have the springs... what if i put both the intake and exhaust springs in.. it should work ok no?

Springs are cheap compared to a new motor. There will be nothing left if your guesses are wrong. It's cheap insurance. I'd get some good springs.

yea springs are cheap, but i have a set of type r's laying around its not gunna be a track car or anything its going to be driven on the street with stage 2 cams thats it... i was just wondering since i have them laying if i could put them to use you know
