Mounting MSD ignition on EX/DX (EK)
Has any one tried mounting MSD ignition at this spot?
I'm putting in an EX (Cool Air) intake and was wondering if I'll have enough clearance to put the MSD box there.
I'm building a mini-me and my head's in the shop, so I can't test-fit-it until next week, but I'd like to know if any one else tried it.

I do appreciate the help, but what I'm trying to find out is if any one with an EX has tried mounting MSD there.
Mounting it would be pretty easy; I'd just have to make a little shelve out of aluminum (maybe diamond plating).
Right now I don't have the head/intake-manifold, so I don't know exactly how much space the CAI will leave in that area.

What my brother did and what I'm going to do (his car totalled.. selling me ignition) is mounted the bigger box inside the car at the very front bottom of the passenger side.. you could feel it if you reached up there with your feet. He then made a bracket that bolts on to the chassis to the left of the head (up and right of where that one is.)
but to answer your question it will work on a EX you will just have to make some kind of bracket to get it to mount in that location cause the way the wheel well is right there good luck
