ok i got a faze A?F ratio guage and i understand how to hook it up but im confused on one specific part. that is do i hook it up as the postive dimmer control or the negitive dimmer control? im unsure what exactly are they trying to say? all info an input is apprieated

 

I know that the autometer A/F guage only has three wires. Ground, Power, And the purple signal wire. When I hooked that up, I just bipassed the gauge cluster illumination at the fuse box. This allowed me to have the gauge turn on only when I had my gauge cluster on, which makes sense. As for a dimmer, why bother...
