Default Front bumper sliced...

About a year ago, my front bumper was a victim to a lawnmower blade being kicked up on the freeway, slicing a 1' hole through it (the blade was still there when I parked).
Well I guess my question is, would there be any way to repair the damage? Or would I be better off purchasing a used bumper of the same color to avoid repaint? I'll see if I could get pics up, they should tell the whole story.
Car is an 2003 civic ex - I'm planning to sell it after the repair is done.

Just get a new bumper. Cheap enough to buy the shell for like a hundred bucks online and have it repainted to match the car. The whole deal shouldnt cost ya more than 200 bucks, even if your going to a shop to have them put it back on for ya.

Not true unless you have a shitty place do it. My parents Audi needed a new bumper (long story) and the bumper alone was 750 or so, and I think honda bumpers run somewhere around 300-450. Then when you factor in the paint and labor it will be around 700-800 for the complete job.

That is highway robbery. I dont know where you live, but I know the bumper itself is only around 150, ive seen the shell online for even less! if your going to pay 700 for a new bumper, I would call out of town and look around.

As for the audi, haha, thats a completely different breed! I mean, you cant compare a 15-20K car with a 35-45K car. Not to mention audi uses a higher grade material for there body parts.
