there are some very simple things your can do to the exterior to make it look clean, but keep you body style, an just make it oldschool. Yes you are a noob, but so is everyone else at one point. Variable valve Timing and lift Electronic Control =
V-tec. Dont do R32 lights, stick with mods that compliment the body lines of the car, not distort an destroy them

sorry to say it, but that thing would be a ghetto-hoopty embarassment. get an early 80's cord and swap in a sbc.

getting a 89 accord is a very nice project but dont ruin it with all those conversions and body kits . with the money your're dumping into those conversions you could be putting it into a nice b18 swap with some fresh paint, suspension and rims .

you can also have the a series motor turbo'd... a few guys on 3geez have done it with great results... a freash a20 rebuild and good boost, and you can make some seriously good power, and still not be too expensive...

You should learn to drive stick. Just do it, you'll feel better.

Also, A 3rd gen is almost an antique. So if you buy one, nurture it back to a good looking OEM condition. (with the exeption of a drop, powerplant, and some low-key rims).

Just think... Class.

one is a dedicated race car, making low 10's in the 1/4, another was a high strung sreet car, making mid 11's in the quarter... much better than most accords of any gen that i see... yet another claims 350 WHP... two more are being built... there must be some reason that it's done...

to find these cars, look up johnny-o, 88turbo accord, and sean , respectively, on 3geez...

hehe, sounds like you've looked into it sometime or another, hehe...

these cars are outdated... they don't compete with newer cars... it is good to be able to go out in the back yard and pull parts off of a parts car because you got the whole car for $25, though... can't do that with a new car...

88accord's car ran for a good while, but it seemed to always be down for something or another... j-o's car is impressive because hell, 35 PSI is kinda cool sounding... and not to mention not all that bad of times for an ancient economy car... as for sean, i think that he should have know that people aren't going to do a hell of a lot to a, 18 year old chassis that hasn't been used in 14 years... as for his business, it seems that he didn't keep up on his end too well...

thing is that there is life in these cars as long as someone is willing to dump money into it... PRI did make engine swap kits, so a swap was an option for a while... there are a few guys running b-series motors and not doing too bad... on the spendy side, though... for the price of a motor swap in an old unsupported car, you can have the car the motor came from...

i guess anything is possible, though...
