Damn, thats a hell of a deal! I got quoted 1200 for a 6-point cage with just the main hoop, door bars and rear bars. I gotta take a trip up North and get some cage work done. The race car is looking GREAT!
Good Luck!

</TD></TR></TABLE>yes, and if the 6x6" plates are welded they must bend up the rocker sill! all tubes must have a plate under them...

the only 6x6 plates which the nhra is concerned with is for the front 4 bars... the a-pillar/door bar mount to he chassis and the main hoop attachment point

The NHRA tech that certified our cage in the coupe told us all points of the cage needed to have 6 x 6 plates on a unibody car, as I had 4 x 4 plates on the diagonals coming from the main hoop. Some of the techs will pass cages and tell you to fix the problems, or it won't recert.

All in all it's your life we talking about.
