NEVER HAVE BEEN TO TRACK WHAT SHOULD I LAUNCH AT?????
ok guys i know this is a stupid question but here it goes i plan on taking my car to the track this spring. Right now i have the following things done to it. IT's a 90 HF crx with a usdm 99 gsr motor with a short ram intake stainless steel header with 2.5 inch exhaust no cat. some muffler hasport mounts hasport shiftlinage Jdm b16a ys1 tanny non lsd but will put lsd ys1 tranny this summer. Also right now i have 14inch integra hubs and knuckles with 14inch tires i do have 13 inch hubs that im putting on in summer or spring. Right now the way my car sits with the current mods with my self in the car. It weighs a total of 2300LBS my base horse power is 170HP at the flywheel. With the current setup what should be my 1/4 times be?????? also ill be using just regular street tires. what rpm should i be lauching at????? with the non lsd tranny??? please get back to me and let me know. also should i take it all the way to 8K everyshift? cause i wanna know how to get the best times thanks please let me know thanks people!
hold it on the floor and dump the clutch....
in all honesty its alot fo trial and error, lots of stuff you gotta take into consideration... track prep, how good of a clutch you have, tire pressures ect...

Keep your revs between 5,000-6000 rpms. Preload your clutch and sidestep your foot rather than just dumping the clutch. Practice on getting off the line without bogging. Soon it will become a feel and you should be pulling the times you want.

or dyno tune the car and see where it stops making power before determining where its "best" to shift
