60ft Times
What kind of 60ft times are u high hp turbo guys cutting without LSD? I'm currently running a gsr tranny without lsd on 25x8.7x13 slicks 6 1/2 - 7 psi tire pressure. I'm launching my car at 6k rpm and spinning in 1st gear hitting mid 1.8s for my 60 ft time. My setup is below
dtr traction bar
koni yellow with ground control 450lbs spring rate
gsr tranny
tilton twin disk 10lbs flywheel
6k launch w/2step
i'm getting stiffer drag suspensions already... and plan on getting quaife lsd in the future. Is there anything else i'm forgetting that will cut down my 60ft time?

I have LSD on my car but I would suggest going a little lower on your tire pressure , try 6.5 check to see how it likes it , then try 6. You should be able to cut 1.7's no problem , maybe even better. How much power are you making ? Depending on your hp your tire could be to big for your application at the same time affecting your 60ft times as well. What gear are you heating up your tires in ?
I dont make 600whp but My 60's are low to mid 1.6's on a 24.0x9.2x15 slick with a open diff. in a 2400 pound street car.
My best 60' was a 1.61
My best pass was a 11.08 @ 126 with a 1.62 60' on about 375whp.
I preload the clutch and have my launch boost set at 7psi with the 2 step at 6300rpm.
Oh and 3rd gear burn outs for the win

Does preloading your clutch at 6300rpms wear it out prematurely?

i have 25" slicks, and i cut 1.7-1.8 at my shitty track, but i ran consitant low 1.6's and one 1.58 in vegas.
new slicks, will cut your 60' down about 1tenth.
i have omni power drag coil overs,L-con traction bar, qauife lsd..

do you guys think i have to launch higher? i'm spinning in 1st gear though launching at 6k rpm. i don't preload the clutch because my clutch activated msd wouldn't work together... i just drop the clutch
msd 2 step... is 6k rpm good enough for the launch or should i launch lower or higher? i know 6k rpm isn't that much on slicks compared to what other people are launching at

Try bumping it up to 6,600 rpm and drop the tire pressure and see how it likes that. Compare to your other slips and go from there.
