Default All Natural B16A (P30) block build ?'s

ok...where to start?

i wanna start building my p30 b16 block into a mild all motor monster..im gonna be using my car for daily driving and road racing every once in a while.

my overall goal with this car is a somewhat reliable high compression b16..now i dont know as much as most people in the NA forum's but i do have common sense and all of my work will be done by me (unless a machine shop has do do some kind of machining)

few questions:

1. can i keep the stock 81mm p30 sleeves and still obtain a 11.8:1 compression?(i say 11.8:1 compression because ive been looking at 81mm IB spec wiseco pistons being sold on jerrybuiltracing.com)

2.should the sleeve's be replaced?

3. what kind of rods would be best to use if any other that oem p30 rods?

4. what kind of machine work if any would i have to have done to the sleeve's, deck or crank shaft area before i build?

5. is there anything im missing or dont know about that i will need for this build?(bearings, rings, wrist pins, pistons, rods, headgasket, ?????????)

6. am i shooting to high or am i trying to hard to obtain my goal?..can i achieve my goal by simply using stock p30 rods and ctr std size pistons, rings, and wrist pins and call it a day?

7. if i did use std size ctr pistons what compression would i be able to yeild?

8. would i have to do any honing to the oem sleeves before i instaled the ctr pistons?

thanks for taking the time to read this and i look forward to seeing what you have to say

BTW: this is the only thread im gonna make about this..im gonna keep using this thread for info and future questions until i reach my goal

you dont need to use aftermarket sleeves rods for that setup
b16 block - b16a head with CTR b16b pistons you'll get 11.1:1

thats what i was just reading...the search function is down right now so ive just been looking at every page in the all motor forums for clues as to what i can expect with b16b pistons in a b16a

so if all i added to my shortblock was CTR pistons, wrist pins and new rings i could yield a 11.1:1 CR correct?..will i have any issues using ctr pistons with JUN 2 cam's, supertech flat faced valve's, and a mugen headgasket?..could i still mill .30 off of the head if i wanted or would that be cutting it close?

they told me that Toda Spec C will work without problem with b16b pistons and 11:1 CR if that is true mean you'll not have any prob with your setup,my opinion is to go with aftermarket pistons and if you have the money resleeve and go 84mm
