Default something stuck around spark plug! help!

here's what happend:

i was taking my spark plug wires out.. and i got 3 out of 4 but only the top half of the 4th got pulled out leaving the black plastic housing thing. so, i pulled that out, and i was ready to take the last spark plug out but now there is a little rubber thing guarding it . its about 1in high from the spark plug and i've tried 8in pliers to get it out but it wont reach. ive even tried to use a fishing hook to get it out. the only thing that seems to reach it and grab hold is a pair of scissors... do they make a pair of needle nose pliers with the actually nose part as long as scissors... or is there any other way i can over come this? please help me.. im stuck

Try a long flathead screwdriver or maybe a bent piece of coat-hanger or something? You can probably gain alot of room if you pull the valve cover off and would probably be able to reach it with just standard needle-nose pliers if you did that. See if you cant get a ride to your nearest Honda dealership and buy 4 new spark plug tube gaskets and a new valve cover gasket, might be your best bet unless you can hook the spark plug boot somehow and yank it out.

i thought you couldn't get the valve cover off without taking the spark plugs out? ive tried a flat head screw driver and the metal hanger thing won't work because i used a fish hook which is alot smaller and that didnt work at all

...even if the valve cover does come off w/o taking spark plugs out.. i broke my valve cover bolts and now the thread things are stuck in there.

Yes you can remove the valve cover w/o removing the spark plugs. The spark plugs thread into the head and the tubes you see that they slide into are part of the head, not the valve cover.

And you snapped your valve cover bolts off? Looks like your only option is yanking them out from the top w/ the cover still on. Go to Autozone or Sears and pick up a o-ring/seal pick set. They basically look like dental picks, might be able to yank it out with some of those.
