Well i was in the process of putting the infamous white guages in the cluster and i think i may have messed my cluster up. I popped the needles of and was careful to put them back where they came from. except the spedometer. First it wouldn't move at all and then i put it on in a different location and now i believe it is off by 5mph. I can tell this by using my first gear. My car will only hit 30 in first gear. Any other ideas of how i can get this back to normal? or if any type of shop will be able to align this cluster back up somehow?

 

youre not supposed to take off the needles.. youre supposed to put the gauges around it. slide it through. now youre going to have to recalibrate it

 

Haha, i made this same ricer mistake a couple of years ago. The cluster is going to be off now unless you recalibrate it. I just wish I knew of somewhere to do this besides a Honduh Dealer.

so can any shop do this or will i need to go to the honda dealer. Would LOVE to avoid that place for fear of getting raped.... how can these things be recalibrated?
