Rare EF Center console
Even if you find the number, you can't order them any longer.
As I understand it, they were a dealer installed option and Honda dropped availibility years ago.
I lucked out and the 89 SI hatchback I bought had one (I assume the original owner had it installed). It's slightly different in that the ash tray and lighter are located lower in the unit. The outside shape is exactly the same. The lower "pocket", ash tray, and lighter are part of a removable plastic piece. I know cause I had to take mine apart to clean it up as much as possible.
Here is a photo of mine, minus the ash tray;

You should also keep in mind that the right hand drive one would be different from a left hand drive one!!
Wes.

I recently purchased a BRAND NEW EDM style LHD audio console for the price that most people put up for them used!
For whoever is wondering, I'm about to start reproducing these. I'm sure it's against some law but if Honda won't produce them, I don't know what choice I have.
They're actually in production right now but the last kink is getting the black, blue, and grey color-tint to match the OEM honda colors. They're still slightly off.

What i did with 2 of my civic hatchs. I changed out the hole dash to a crx dash. they are nice in the hatchs clean and simple! took me like 10 hours to put the first one in. (had no clue just kinda messed around with it) dunno if you have a hatch or a rex but either way the crx dash is the way to go, love that dash! imo.

Im still waiting to hear an answer to this.

As far as I know, that one you pictured is the one offered in Canada.
From what I have read, you can still buy those at the dealership for less than $60.
There is another one that doesn't have that large pocket at the bottom. Instead it has an ashtray and lighter down there and a DIN above. That one is the 'audio console' and it's the hard on to get. On ebay they sell for $200 and up. Wes V shows one with a pocket in place of the optional EQ for the radio.
The JDM one does NOT fit in our cars. You can NOT make it fit unless you convert your entire dash and seating to JDM right hand side.

So, is there a part number for the Canadian one? What do you get with it for the 60 bucks.
With that in mind, is there a Canadian Honda dealer web site that it can be purchased through?
I'd be willing to buy a new one for 60 due to the fact that the original owner of my car drilled a hole in mine to mount an alarm LED. Keep in mind that the center face place is removable and could be changed from one outter shell to another.
(I'm only interested in buying a new one, not used)

Try 77294-SH3-G10ZD.
If I remember correctly this is the number on my brand new unit.
