Default Loss of Theft Immobilizer with new ECU

Does anyone know if I'll lose the functionality of the Theft Immobilizer system on the 2000+ GSR if I swap in a P28 civic ECU? I.E. is the Theft Immobilizer system controled by the ECU?

yup- it's true- no more immobilizer- that's a damn shame.
