Default just bought a new car!!!

Hey everyone my search is finally over and i am now the proud owner of a 94 del sol DOHC VTEC model its black and completely stock, as soon as i get it payed off its gonna be mods mods and more mods!! the car didn't come with an owners manule... and theres a button by the cruse control button on the left side that i cannot read what it says... also there is a button by the heat control slider thing that i have no idea what it does... it could be for the alarm.. but i'm not sure.. because it doesn't look like an alarm button... anyways.. if anyone has any cool pictures of some modded del sols, post em!

Wow--a stock VTEC sol. Damn, you found a needle in a haystack!

Please mod it tastefully, because it is a crime to see those cars done up in a non-clean manner.

Congrats--I'm sure you're going to love it.

I also have one except mine is red
The button to the left of cruise4 if for the aux light th elittle circle light. the one over by the heater control is for the reciriclate air button. Be carefully the windows like to leak make sure you have up to date weather seals they were changed in 95 and was a volentary recall on 94 you pay for it. i have mine tacked out in 5 and it was about 130-135 mph

i have no idea if this works or not.. so dont get mad if it doesnt... a friend of mine w/ a del sol said that if you close the windows w/ the door OPEN.. then the glass will roll all the way up and not leak.. he said if you roll up the window w/ the door closed to park the car.. then the glass touches the rubber seals and feels resistance and the glass doesnt go all the way up to make a seal...

i dont have a del sol so i cant tell you if this works or not.. but thats what he said..

never heard that, onw thing is if you keep dielectric grease on it and keep the seals well lubed it will leak very little if any with the old seals

i dunno he just told me that if the weatherstripping is firm then its been replaced under the recall.. but if its soft it hasnt (or maybe it was the other way around).. he said that when he parks.. he opens the door then presses the power window switch and rolls it all the way up and it doesnt leak.. maybe its just his car but he said if u roll it up w/ the door closed.. it might leak because the window isnt all the way up .. sumthin like that..

Nope the difference is on the old ones the lip that catches the water is very small, the recall is alot higher, there is a major visual difference if you have more question email me at skyle@genlyte.com and also check out http://www.teamdelsol.com
