i like the 94-95 front ends better than the 96-97 but i like the rear end of the 96-97 more. haha i have a 1996 honda accord 4dr 5 speed. its nice and roomy.
You should go with a 94-97 accord like I did, I couldn't be happier. I have a 96 EX 2-door 5 speed, its a lot of fun to drive and runs great and is good on gas. Good luck with your hunt and if you have questions feel free to ask, I've learned quite a bit from H-T!

Well i would say get a 94-95 but thats only cause i own a 94 ex and it is a very fun car to drive. Even though its a slow and heavy car its very roomy but at the same time it is pretty sporty. with that price range you should have no problem getting that car.
And your 16 and your moving in with your boyfriend? Does he live next door?

LMFAO!
Well with that budget I think it be kinda hard to find a decent 94-95. Those cars just seem to have a high resale. Ive been looking around for a decent one but they are still pretty high up there. I got my 98 V6 with 86k for 6700 and I still see those 5th gens up there in price. I know I got a deal on my car though.

Go with 94-97 Accord. Accords aren't that great performance wise but it has 4 doors and is a pretty reliable car.

Well im planning on buying an accord once i pay off my current car...Im going to buy a 97 because i don't like the tail ends on the 6th gens....i want something newer than the 4th gen as they got more creature comforts, so i am going the last year of the 5th gen...my .02

i went with a 6th gen because the c27 is poopy compared to the j30, a 6th gen v6 coupe weighs less than a 5th gen v6 coupe (same trim levels), but styling-wise, i honestly cant pick which one i like more.

Im not too worried about performance, Im buying this car strictly for show car, getting my fathers friends to airbrush the car..if i was aiming for performance id go brand new...excuse my ignorance c27 and j30?? those arn't the engine codes....what are you talking about...

Um, yeah those are engine codes.

Ok my bad, but i thought the 97's were
1997 Accord EX: 2.2L(2156cc), F22B1, MPFI, SOHC 16-valve
1997 Accord DX/LX: 2.2L(2156cc), F22B2, MPFI, SOHC 16-valve
and the 6th gens were
H22's and H20's??
Sorry i am new to the accord scene, but i was just going from the "basic accord" thread on this forum??

I wasn't aware there was a 5th gen V6 coupe. I know the V6 came on the sedans from 95-97 but I've never seen a 95-97 V6 coupe.
The H22's were for the prelude.

that's my opinion though. but if you were to get one, i'd get the 94-95 ONLY. the front bumper looks nicer
