tps prob
my idle is very low and it is eating alot of gas...and its giving me a code 7 tps sensor...wat should i do change it or reset because i have a valtometer...how can you reset it or check it.....idk please help! is it possible to get a new tps senosr how do you take out rivits........ idk........ help thanx guys!
You can always get a TPS off another throttle body. Do get the rivets out, just drill them out with a drill bit a lil smaller than the rivet size. Thats what we did on mine the first time. Then just find some screws with the right thread size to hold the TPS in place.
But I am still throwing a TPS code, so I just found another LS throttle body with good sensors and will be putting that on when I do the turbo setup and other crap to the car.

I can tell you how to test it out of a Haynes Repair Manual, if you want, just let me know. As for taking it off, it is pretty easy if you take your throttle body off. If you set you TB on its side with the TPS faceing up to you, you can get a hacksaw and make a little cut in the rivet. If you do it right you can then get a flat head screw driver and unscrew the rivets and then pull off the TPS. If you do not want to buy new screws the use the rivets again. hope this helps.
