Default sum opinions..please

hi my name is roberto,i'm from canada i have a 98 honda civic si..canadian version,i have a d16 y8..i have a aem cai,header,tanabe exhaust,plugs and wires.and a stage 2 clucth.i was just wondering if i should buy a cam,and will it give more power?or am i wasting my money? thanks guys

Go with a stage 2 cam and replace the valve springs, and retainers. That should give you some good power. Good luck and remember that search is your friend.

to answer your question, yes, installing an aftermarket cam will definately give you more power. there are many good companys out there with many great cam choices for you d16y8. do some research on each company and ask around a bit about what peoples expeiriences are with each cam. personally i am getting a zex stage 2 street/strip cam for my z6 in the next week or two. ive heard some good things about this cam and its in my price range which is a about 250 bucks. hopefully ill get it installed and let you know how it turns out.
