i bought a cluster off of ebay and installed it
and its lights are very dim and in some places there is no light
i thought of just buying all new bulbs and i wanted to know what size or what not to get
i also wanted to know if i can get some red lights for it
could you tell me where to find them
I have a 97 civic hatchback and the cluster is just stock but with an manual rpm gage
i would appreciate eny help.

 

I think the bulbs are #94 (larger ones) and there could be #74 (smaller ones) bulbs as well. Just replace all the bulbs and turn your dimmer up.

Try the Honda dealer. I don't think you can buy the cluster bulbs just anywhere. I'm not sure if all the bulbs between 97-00 are the same but if they are you could ask for the bulbs from the 99-00 Si gauge which have the little red covers on them and you could pop those in.
