i bought a cluster off of ebay and installed it
and its lights are very dim and in some places there is no light
i thought of just buying all new bulbs and i wanted to know what size or what to get
i also wanted to know if i can get some red lights for it
I have a 97 civic hatchback and the cluster is just stock but with an manual rpm gage
could you tell me where to find them?
i would appreciate eny help.

The total for new bulbs from kragen will probably be about $5-$7. You need one really big bulb it could be #24 or 94 I forget which it is and 4 smaller bulbs, also could be 24 or 94.
Also check to see if the blue condoms are still on there. If they are pull them off and it will be much brighter.

I just found the #'s for the bulbs. 1 #194 bulb and 5 #24 bulbs. If the bulb is blown, removing the condom won't do anything. Just go out and buy new bubls and do this.....

It's the same concept for the 96-98 Civic. (same clusters) Only difference is the Climate control.
