if you do a swap and get it ref'd. can you add after market carb approved parts. does it have to go with the yr of the car or the yr and model of the swapped motor?
i have 89 civic and crx and thinking bout ls or d16y/z
i want to do a swap and add a forced induction kit to it. but dont know if it'd be legal.

 

it should be legal if its carb approved... why dont you call the ref's to ask them?

 

the carb approved part will have to go with the motor it's approved for.
