Ok now that your in... i still want to pass smog! I was thinking of the accord / prelude motor because of its ez. Is it worth the money time and effort ? And can i even pass smog with that set-up... or should i just do a REAL swap

Assuming you're in California, you'll never pass smog with an earlier year engine in a later year car. It simply isn't legal.

Any same year or newer US spec passenger car engine is legal, you just need to get the swap certified once you have it in and running.
