those port pics are of that cylinder that looks fucked up, it has like plastic feeling **** on it
rest of the IM ports are clean except that one

P72 Cylinder head

Dont mind the dirt/sand stuff, head was sitting in a wood shop. I'm worried about why only that IM port is black, the rest are clean.


What do you think happen?

 

it looks like a piece of metal went into the combustion chamber through the intake port and broke some **** in there.
or at least it looks like it. that chamber is all chewed up right?

 

Woah looks like you had a rather large piece of **** go through that engine! The black buildup you say is only on that one intake? do you think it could be from exhaust getting in there from the combustion with a valve jammed open?

 

it could be this isnt my head, but one i was about to buy until i flipped it over and saw that.

scared me right out of that buy.

oiy that looks like poo,must have been some **** sucked through der....git er dun eh?

 

a piston def broke in that cly, that thing is junk.. would'nt run it or even bother fixing it.. im sure its warped to some degree, the valve area is fucked, surfuce must be **** as well. Sure the radias is all chewed up, looks potted..

 

after a quick look in the garage, my intake ports look just like that on my #1 cylinder, and #2 is slightly darkeend #3 and #4 are both shiney clean metal, weird.

 

Did something get sucked through that ****...? whoa.

 

the copper lookin/bronze lookin is from my flashlight light.

All the dirt/sand is from it sitting.

 

Are those gray lines in the bowl actual gouges in the metal?
