Another HID question about projectors......

I searched for this one but couldn't find anything.....I noticed that alot of people are saying that e55 bi xenon projectors are a good projector to use because they are almost the size of the stock integra projector....but if they are bi xenon, doesnt that mean you cant use them if you have d2s bulbs and you are still utilizing your high beam ? do i have to find single xenon e55s, or can I just use the bi xenon projectors without any modification at all ?
I guess my basic question was, what is the difference betwen bi xenon and single xenon projectors ? thanks in advance guys

heres a cool .gif showing how a bi-xenon mechanism works.

thats the inside of a projector...........
when the shield is "up" it is blocking a portion of the light that comes out of the bowl of the projector.
when that shield comes down, thats when your "high beams" come on persay, all it does is allow more light to come out, basically
single xenon projectors don't have that mechanism.

sweet.
You can always use Bi-xenon, but dont hook up the solenoid so it will just be used as low beam.

It only acts as high beam when the solenoid is activated by receiving a 12V power supply. So if you want it purely as low beam, then all you have to do is not connect the wires that goes into the solenoid. Simple.
