Default How do I go about finding cam caps

Well I found a good deal on a low mileage B18b head only problem is its missing the cam caps. Is there Anyway I can find some that fit? Or should I just spend a little more and buy a complete head since I havent spent money yet. Also is there any chance the ones from my b18a will work? Thanks in advance.

Bummer I would have taken those off your hands T.J. But will any cam caps fit off a b18b? I thought they weren't all the same.

When the heads are manufactured they mount the caps then bore the hole for the cams.Honda is good at locating this hole but it doesn't off much between two heads to have a problem switching caps.Lots of people have gotten away with switching caps and have it work.On a LS head I wouldn't waste my time trying.Just find another head.

I guess I will probably just look for a different head then instead of bothering to look for a set of cam caps. Thanks for the help.

caps are mated specifically to a head... like stated above... honda bores and hones the holes for the cams with the caps on the head which as much as there all the same... there is always a slight differance in the bore location... u cannot just go and use differant caps... u might be lucky and it will work... i dont personnally reccommend it
