Default *** Stolen 2000 Civic - San Diego, CA ***

Hi Everybody....

My friends 2000 Civic got stolen Friday night from a friends apartment complex in UTC. No glass breakage, probably a slim or key job.

It's a 2000, white, custom wheels, lowered, tinted windows. Nothing overly fancy, just a clean car. I haven't got pics of the car from her yet to post up.

I'm sure its in Mexico by now, but just in case anyone see's it parked in a lot somewhere 'cooling off', please send an email.

Thieves suck!

Thanks everyone.

I ******* hate the theft here in san diego. I hope those ******* crash after the stole your car and burned to death.

Seriously though, my hatch has already been stolen twice from here in SD and its ******* bullshit. People need to start buying their own **** and quit stealing others cars.

I like your Avatar. Living here makes me want to move to Texas, where I can post signs on my property like the one in your avatar, b/c you are allowed to shoot trespassers on your property.

Im from the East Coast. Just wondering. Do most cars in the West coast get stolen and end up in mexico? Just wondering because most cars that get stolen here in NOVA end up in Industrial Maryland area.

Especially here is SD,CA. This place makes me sick! And its more than the thieves, its the fact they are crossing over from Mexico and all the Liberal Douches here in CA think that this is ok and that we should support illegals and their activities and give them CA drivers licenses.

FYI: The majority of Import performance related car theft in San Diego is not commited by illegal Mexican visitors, or Mexican-American citizens.

You mean like racism? You're assuming that Mexicans come up here and steal ****. Why? Cuz our proximity to the border? What do you actually know about it outside of your racist assumptions and generalizations? Goddamn I hate racist conservatives.

The majority of thefts of our particular cars are for parts. They steal what they need for their project and dump the rest of the car somewhere, sometimes with plenty of valuable stuff left intact.

Sorry for the loss. I hate thieves but I don't know a good way to get rid of them other than to put them out of business. Get a good alarm and install/conceal it yourself. I've spent as much time/effort/research on my alarm as I have on my suspension and engine combined.

No he was referring to Southern Hospitality, not much of it in the CA area. Been to LA once and hated every minute of it. No one says thank you if you hold the door for them, they just assume it's you job. I was raised on Southern Hospitality and live by it every day of my life. There isn't much of a theft problem here in TN, prolly b/c where I live 90% of the residents own a shotgun, and ask the kid that tried to rob a little mom and pop store out here what happens when they catch you in the act...oh that's right you can't because he's dead. Owner caught him, cocked his shotgun and fired, and then his momma wants to say he was a good kid and how the owner was racist(owner=white, theif=black) but that would solve the problem, if you catch them in the act, pull out a gun and kill their ***. I wouldn't miss someone who is gonna work twice as hard to steal somone's **** that they work hard for. Your car is prolly in pieces right about now, so all I can say is you have to take the loss and move on, nothing much else you can do.

Very well stated .

When a friend of mine was under investigation for a stolen tranny (wasn't stolen, it was Jspec, therefore no VIN plate), the task force officer we worked with filled is in on quite a bit of information.

Good luck finding your car, I hope everything works out for you in the end.

haha, no that's not my GF... that's not even the car owner! The actual owner is hotter

While I agree that many stolen cars in general are driven directly to Mexico (and farther south) to be stripped or sold, I don't believe that is the case with many honda products (or import scene cars as someone called them). As previously stated, they are mostly stolen by lowlife "car enthusiasts" who use them for parts for their own cars or to sell to others. That's one of the reasons why I posted a pic. I don't know of any local San Diego forums, but if someone sees the wheels for sale by a shady character for example, that might be of help.

It appears others have had cars stolen locally too. That's very unforunate and I feel for you. It's disappointing that one can't have anything nice without having to worry about someone stealing their pride and joy due to scum who constantly leech off of other's hard work.

Thanks to everyone for keeping an eye out.
