Default very wierd bogging vtec problem | video and dyno graph inside

before i say anything, here is my setup

00 gsr
skunk2 intake manifold
aem 3" short ram
skunk2 stage 1 cams
skunk2 cam gears, +2 intake/+0 exhaust
jdm 4-1 header
test pipe
buddy club spec 2 exhaust
fpr set at 50 psi with vacuum hose on, 58 psi with it off
ih8ricerz mild j's racing prog

ignition timing is at 17 degrees

fields vtec controller with the following fuel settings
rpm: fuel settings
1: -6%
2: -5%
3: -4%
4: -4%
5: +0%
6: -3%
7: -4%
8: -6%

vtec x-over at 5400 rpm

vtec bogging video
http://home.comcast.net/~ken-c...g.wmv
that is a 3rd freeway pull, but it happens in all gears. when the car is bogging, the car shakes hard as if i was tapping the gas.

dyno graph:

It was doing this before tuning, but i thought it was just because my car was untuned. Apparently the car didn't act wierd like this on the dyno, I duno why it didn't. It started bogging like that after i left the shop when i was smashing outside. in the cold rainy weather (if that helps). I can't think of why it does this, dyno tuning shouldve fixed it?

Whats the problem here?

Thanks in advanced for the help

check your oil pressure
what is your valve lash?
try a different ECU
switch vtec solinods (SP?)
make sure the wiring is nice and good to the vtec solinod and there is no shakey/exposed/bad connections from the ecu to the solinod

dude...we'll try to trouble shoot it and go from there to see if it is in fact the program that needs to be fixed or what. Give me a call after you test out those other ecu's.

Mine did that when I had a failing ignition. I ended up cleaning the plugs, changing wires, cleaning terminals, and replacing the ignitor and my problem has not come back.

one posibility is ur engaging vtec tooo soon for the cams you have. if there is a big jump between the vtec lobe and the primaries it can buck like that, especially at part throttle or low load.

Run a full tuneup....Spark plugs, Spark plug wires, new oil, distributor cap and rotor, ignitor.Take out your vtec silenoid and clean it out .Check your settings in your vtec controller.

i'd check your plugs and make sure the car isn't leaning out, i doubt that problem is bc of the vtec crossover

i know what the problem is now. its the dumbest thing thats ever left me hanging on whats wrong with my car.

when i went on the dyno, the guy tuned it with my exhaust silencer off for most power.

the exhaust is so loud that i cant stand driving it on the street without the silencer on.

with the exhaust silencer off, the car runs like a champ, what a stupid solution

thanks for all the help guys

more of a sign to not have an exhaust that needs a silencer.
