what are the gains of putting y8 intake manifold on d16z6?

i've heard of this befor. I saw a y8 mani tonight and the thing looks fat compared to mine! but are there really any gains, anybody dyno it or something. I couldn't find anything in the search, just installation questions. all info appricated.

i believe it is good for about 2 hp...but this is just what i have heard from a couple peeps....

HAHAHA, thats gay. what a waste of time, install a new intake manifold and only gain 2hp, at least it would look better then the Z6 one.

If you're gonna replace your intake manifold, might as well get a good aftermarket rather than go honda again... And 2hp? I doubt it.

I am sure a ported Y8 intake manifold and 60mm throttle body would be a nice improvement over the stock Z6 intake and 56mm throttle body if you were turbo. You could probably get it really cheap also and then you just need a used B16/GSR throttle body. I say if your getting if for a good deal go for it.
