gas gauge broke..

my gas gauge is broken and i was wondering what i need to get to fix it or what could be wrong

Well you need to add more details. Anyways, check the fuel pump. I had that problem once but it was on an AE86.

the gas gauge on the gauge cluster is all the way down and when i put gas in it doesnt go up is there like a harness or sensor in the gas tank?

do you have a friend who has the same cluster to check for gauge failure first?

yeah it was swapped in and the lights dont work so it might be the cluster i never thought of that
