Default Gas Gauge problems.

I have a 00 Honda Civic EX. Somethings wrong with my gas gauge. It keeps bouncing up and down, so I don't know how much gas I have left. Sometimes it's full and sometimes it's on E. Does anybody know whats wrong with it and how I can fix it?

Check the sender unit and float in the gas tank.
