aftermarket flywheel or Type-R flywheel
Ok, so I'm getting a new ACT stage 1 clutch this summer, mostly because my old clutch is coked
I don't need anythign crazy cuz its not a huge setup, b20z, I/H/E/IM/ p8r head and Crower 403s
The aftermarket flywheels are $100 more than a Type R and some are only a few pounds different..... what do you suggest
I drie the car in traffic a few times a week, but I also drive it energetically at night and on the weekend... and I only drive it in the summer
opinions?

The Fidanza/Clutch Masters would be my recommendation as well.

ideally I want an aftermarket flywheel, but its just so shocking to find out that a flywheel costs so much more than a clutch

The Fidanza/Clutch Masters unit is relatively inexpensive, which is one of the reasons I always recommend it.

try the JUN flywheel, you won't regret. It gives quick acceleration for street use. I put one on my 94 gsr, with ACT clutch, at 120,000. My car now has 210,000 no problems with shifts. Goodluck whatever u decide.
Going to a fidanza I didnt notice much difference, but when I took it out it was very noticable in the fact that I didnt have to rev the motor as much when letting the clutch out. It changes how the motor revs alot, so you need to choose one based on your driving style.

thats a hell of a lot of cash, when the clutch only costs 360 CDN</TD></TR></TABLE>
The Fidanza is available from a couple of vendors in the Sponsors Marketplace for roughly ~$185 USD, which is only around $230 CAD.
