what's are sportman's rules? street legal, non street, turbo, all motor, etc...?

 

These are the same Sportsman and Bracket classes we run at all events.

So this year is only one street car event?
they should label it on the site
so the pros don't show up....

yeah, since we were neglected this year

 

You guys can make the drive to alabama, as we drive to texas.

I cannot believe there are no major events in texas this year, boggles the mind.

 

haha, Alabama gets a nopi race and we don't! What is the world coming to? lol

 

I wish Alabama was a pro class race.

Me too but they dont have the facilities to handle a race like that.

Doing a Sportsman race in Texas would be cool....but guess what, even less people would show up, and thats why they are not going in the first place. If you go to Alabama, you will see that the crowd is insane! Makes E-town seem tame in a way.

It is definitely not Bristol but will be ok for a street event. They are totally redo-ing the track after the hurricane damage and building a new return road, i have heard.

From people that were there last year, it was supposedly one of the biggest turnouts of the year!

On Saturday night when we were leaving to go to the hotel, there was still a LINE to get in. It was ridiculous; as a business, NDRA has to go back!

The track was sufficient for street cars, but pros could be a grey area. With a little work, I think it would be fine though.

 

Thats not too far away, I may try to make this event

 

I live fairly close to Steele, the people around here love this ****. It doesn't come around much so everyone comes out when it does.
