I bought 8o8da9speed's gauges for $115... paypal'd him... he agreed on sending it via priority mail... after I paypal'd him, he just stopped responding...

why is A_RU_BA's name in there too? because they have similar locations and A_RU_BA stated that he bought something from 8o8da9speed. A_RU_BA was the only one that "received" his stuff and vouched for 8o8da9speed... not only that.. 8o8da9speed is selling the same things using the same pictures as A_RU_BA... some shitty *** camera phone pics..

man, that sucks...have you tried getting their contact info through paypal? i've dealt with a couple scammers off ebay, and paypal gave me their contact info...i just kept calling them till they answered...lets just say, i always got my money or product back.

What is his zip/city? I live on the Big Island, I can help you out if he lives here. Oh, I know how you feel. I got ripped out of $450 recently. I bought gauge clusters off him (he's from Canada) like 3 months ago. He stalled me until I couldn't file anything with paypal. to scammers.

who scammed you? sorry to hear man.. $450 is a lot... i'm not even sure where he lives... that's all the info i got.. the other guy said 8o8 being part of his sn = hawaii.. so i'm not too sure... i didn't think i'd get scammed over some little ****.. other people have given me pretty good advice too... i'm going to file something with the FBI.

 

Hell yeah $450 is a lot. I was contacted using another forum, TorontoCivic.com. His name is Mike Wry (mikeymike@hotmail.com, wrymike@japan.com) and I guess he supposedly works for a junkyard in Canada. I bought two Canadian Type-R clusters and a 99 SiR cluster from him. The first time he said he sent it, it took a month before he "got it back" because of a wrong address. He said he sent it out again and I tried contacting him for a month. He responded after a month saying he was on vacation. That was on Dec. 31st, two months after I sent my payment. In that message, he told me he was going to claim insurance of $300 (that's how much he insured it for), even though I paid $450 for everything. I emailed him a few times since, but with no response from him.
