ok, you can lock it now...

 

stolen....had a 98 civic dx. swapped the d16 out for the b18c5 with an si tranny. had intake and exhaust from the header back. had it for about a week when i got a call from the police at 4 in the morning that the car was stolen. they cut out the engine and tranny with welding torches, took all the stereo equipment in my car and lit my baby on fire...adding insult to injury... i now have a 2000 si and really dont want to mod it. too scared something will happen.

 

You don't have to mod it, it's gonna get stolen because it's an Si. If anything DEmod it. Make it look like an EX. Sorry to here about your dx.

thats the 100% truth of it. makes me worried about my hx because it has an si front end/rims/tails .

im sorry to hear about your loss man. my turbo coupe was stolen last year and i had to bite like 4g's on it. everything will turn out okay in the end, it always does in some way or another

i had my old hatch jacked a while back...

it was more like someone invaded my privacy...

i didnt care to much about the money...i was just pissed becuase i felt like i lost something personal...since all the work ever done it was by me...

1st mod should have been an alarm (with a battery back up siren of course), 2nd a hidden kill switch, 3rd a locking wheel/ pedal device.
