check vacuum hoses, clean iacv, check throttle cable, TB adjusting screw, screw in FITV all the way, check spark plugs, check for codes. Thats all I can think of. It has to be one of those just start narrowing them down. I just went through all this.

pull out your spark plug wires, if any of therm have white carbon on them, you might be running on 3 cylinders, replace those if thats the case, your gonna wanna fix that knock sensor, and also check to see if your distributor moved to make your timing all fucked up, use a voltometer to troubleshoot....

Sounds like the same problem I have (car idle bounces when warm) most likely it is your IACV, you should try to clean it.

Go here http://www.ef-honda.com/ben/ and under "Tech" there is an article on idle that can link you to a "How to" on cleaning your IACV.

still didnt clean your IACV, you didnt mention checking and rechecking vacuum, also screw in the FITV valve.

LOL, good deal man. It's just a matter of trial and error. You got to follow the swap instructions by the book and double check everything. Hell, even quadruple check them grounds. Glad you and you're new friend made it. Don't tear it up too much at first. Ease her into the new motor. You got to remember that these motors have been sitting somewhere for a while.
