Default Afraid of Ti retainers...ITR?

Hey guys, I'm kinda new to the all-motor game. I've been seeing pictures of ti retainers becoming paper thin after 10k miles and hearing a lot of bad stuff, so I want to switch to ITR Springs and retainers (or just retainers).

My question is, can this work ok with my cams? I am running Jun III cams in a GSR head with skunk 2 ti retainers and Skunk 2 springs right now. I always see with big cams like this that you need to upgrade the springs and retainers... but then I've seen some people running ITR's on some decently big cams, so I am kind of confused.

or would I just be better off getting new Ti retainers regularly? thanks for any help!

EDIT- this car is more of a daily driver than race car, and I only rev it up to about 9k every once and a while.

just a little FYI...........itr, gsr, new b16, all the retainers are the same. i was actually pricing them out last night at some of the online honda parts places. look to spend 45 buck or so on a set of 16.

Quit looking at the cheap/crap Titanium retainers then and start looking at the good stuff.

skunk2's valvetrain compenents(excluding they're cams) aren't really THAT great, get some good springs and retainers that are titanium and your set.I wouldn't run stock itr valvetrain with your Jun 3's
