Default LS motor

i am planning on putting a LS into my 1993 civic si hatchback....what do i have to do with the vtec wires and stuff? what ecu should i run...thanx for all the info..yes i searched and couldnt find what i was exaclty talking about... thanx!

the vtec will be useless on an ls motor, so just get rid of all the vtec realated crap, and i think you can run a chipped p28 if im not mistaken

As far as I know you need a NON Vetc ECU a P28 will not work I think you need a P75 or P06 to chip.

if you don't get a usdm harness with your motor, just re-use your stock harness and leave the vtec oil pressure switch and solenoid plugs un plugged. use a p74, p75 or pr4 obd1 ecu.

you need a obd-1 p75, you should be able to just plug it in and not have to worry about any wiring.

dont cut the vtec wiring out, just in case you need it for other reasons in the future
