Id say a search would be quicker. What are your goals? How deep are your pockets? Give as much info as possible

he didnt seemed worried about the price. the k20 would be lighter and i think would make more power with the bolt ons.

if your into new breakthroughs and top of the line **** with low miles, go k20, has i-vtec and plenty of power/tq for a 92 hatch, h22 is a big engine and heavier/older and probably has alot more problems/complications than a k20 would.

k20 = easier swap than f20c
unless your civic is RWD?

yeah, no doubt...so has the rest of the world.
i was just answering your question, "why go k20?"
because it sounded as though you were saying going k20 instead of the f20 is the stupidest thing in the world.
personally, i wouldn't go k20 or F20, or H22 in an EG, but that's off topic.
and i'm not a thread jacker unlike some people.

personally, ..this is just my preference.., but i LOVE spending more $$ for my b-series swaps just to save from the trouble of ******* with the drivetrain with a f20 swap.

1 I don't like sports cars... I like the s2000 for it's motor and weight.(which is why I really like the prelude as well)
2. I don't like k20 swaps because I'm one of the many POOR people trying to fix up their cars, and don't have money to waste on this.
I'm just putting a jdm h22 into a 93 prelude si.
I also have a 93 civic ex with a jdm d15b, swapped just because.

Okay, think about it like this. You put both engines in 2 different cars. Stock, the h22 does have more power than the k20. Go out and buy the 3 basic bolt-ons(i/h/e) for both, and the k20 would have more power then the h22 without a doubt.
If you have the money to do a k20, do it.

just reciently I watched a vid of a k20 stock setup in a hatch... wasnt gutted or anything, stock hatch, stock k20 in it... beat a lancer Evo in speed from stop and from rolling, it was passed pretty easily, even with 2 people in the hatch.
K20 can get great power gains from simple bolt ons.... and it weighs just about as much as any b series. perhaps lighter.
The price, is worth it. (especially now since the engine mounts are available...)
