need help
I replaced my d15b2 block for a d16y7 block in my 91 hatch(DPFI). I cant get the timing just right, the car will crank on after a couple of cranks, idle bad with a lot of loud misfires, it accelerate quickly and smothly folowed by a loud misfire and then it dies. What the hell do i do know?
Oh by the way...when it shuts off, a big puff of smoke comes out the TB

Maybe it was installed a couple of teeth off?
And what distributor are you using?

The throttle body is an intake only. Nothing should come out of it unless the timing is way off or a valve isn't closing for whatever reason.
