Brake Swap
Does anyone know which car (what year and model) I could swap in all 4 disc brakes onto a 92 4dr Accord? I want to put on aftermarket brakes, but I'm having a hard time finding parts for a 92 Accord.
So, what I wanted to do is find out which car has a similar disc brake setup, and then buy parts for that car and put it onto my car.
I posted this on tech and someone mentioned the Prelude, but no year was listed. Hope someone on here knows

What I was thinking was what other car (Prelude, Integra, Civic?), could I swap in brakes for. I tried looking around for aftermarket brakes for the Accord, but was very limited, other models like the civic offer more in terms of different manufacturers.
upgrade to the larger accord wagon/v6 rotors/calipers i did this, you cant do teg/civic/lude b/c they use floating rotor design, accords 5th gen and 4th use hub pressed over rotor

I would like to find out from what other car(other than an Accord) can I swap in the rear discs with(Integra, Civic)?
all other applications for brakes are rotor over hub design on the front so a complete front suspension swap will need to take place to change out to different honda application
the rears willl depend on lug pattern
if you want bigger brakes or more braking upgrade your fluid and pads first, that should be all you need
do you iontend on using stock accord calipers?
If your Accord doesn't already have rear discs, you can swap the rear brakes from these 4th generation Accords: the aforementioned SE, 92-93 EX, and the 92 Anniversary Edition. Like Morgan said, the benefit won't be worth the investment, but rear discs do look a look cooler than drums.
As for the front brakes... I am 2 inches away from doing the V6/wagon swap Misa did, but I'm holding out just a bit to see what Morgan comes up with (something like using a Prelude knuckle/hub/floating rotor). What's up with that Morgan? I've changed enough Accord brakes now that it isn't much of a problem, but it sure would be nice to be able to change front rotors by just removing 2 screws instead of having to remove the spindle nut, pop out the hub, unbolt the rotor... you know the routine...

Corey's not driving his racecar much is he? Are you gonna try swapping his knuckle in? The entire knuckle assembly with rotor and caliper attached. See if the control arms, radius rod, tie rod, etc line up. You could try that then put it right back on his car.
If it fits, get some salvaged knuckles and do the conversion, if not, back to the drawing board...

hell morgan, lets do one side, if it bolts up, it may need an alignment, but if it bolts up, and goes up and down with no binds, then we know it will work.. hell, lets do it this weekend, take some measurements, and go from there..
