I dont get it! my motor turns and it gets fuel and the distributor is new and all the gaskets all new and this car did crank until the head has been removed and shaved and when it was put back on it didnt want to start but it turns over.

First off, turns over means the engine starts. And when you say the engine turns, that means its cranking, so your title is a little miss leading.

Anyways how do you know its getting fuel, and have you checked for spark ? And since you had the head off, is the timing set right ?

 

it sounds like it wants to crank but it doesnt and it sounds like its about ta crank but it wont.

Sorry but how does a car not crank but sound like its going to ? Does the starter just click ? If so its more then lily a bad connection or a bad starter.
