Dash Painting
Hello all. I want to paint the dash, door panels, etc. in my integra preferably the same color as my exterior (green). What is the best way to go about this? Should I buy some regular car exterior paint, primer the pieces, and then paint it? I heard dying might be better? Where can I find the products for this? Thanks in advance!

it wouldn't trust me. Unless you're prepared to have it fiberglasses it'll look like ***, and increase glare. Just buy some black interior paint (sold at most autoparts stores) and follow the instructions.

Please dont paint it anything other-than black!!
My car has two-toned white-on-black interior and I hate it!!! (I bought it that way).
It is actuallly really well-done... it "looks" to be of oem quality. You would never know the difference if it wasn't bright-white. But it is still ugly as sin.
edit-- They used Interior-paint. Specifically for this application. I dont know where to buy it either.

a lot of people that are flaming you, or telling you that it is not a good idea probably have had some sort of experience. it would be in your best interest to stick it out and find the dash that came from the factory in the color you would like. if you paint it will flake and you will hate the dash even more. you can find a dash on this board, go through the classifieds. i am sure you will find one and still not have spent an arm and a leg. but that is only if you care for your car, if you don't really care just spray it. but then again if you didn't care why did you make the post?
just my 2 cents.

I don't really care if I get "flamed" or not I just want an answer to my question. I understand that my dash might look crappy if I paint it and it will flake so i probably won't do it. However, I really can't stand the faded gray look either. I will look in the classifieds for some, thanks for the answer.
