Like madspeed said, its not pointless because the shield enables you to have access to your cam gears right away (tuning). Once you are done, you put the shield back on (less than 1 minute) and your gears are covered for protection and also for "secret" timing to hide from others to see.

check out their prices.....JESUS, I don't even want the carbon fiber bullshit!

JDM Valve Cover B Series motor (RED Cover) w/moon cut $250.00
Plastic Valve Cover Insert Shield B Series motor w/moon cut $60.00
Carbon Fiber Shroud Cover Piece (B Series ONLY) $149.00
having PMP Designs sticking it in your butt because you just spent $460 on a valve cover - Priceless
atleast they offer free shipping I ******* hope so for $460, they should hand deliver then give you a blow job while they are at it.

pointless??? how about the chance (even though very slim) of gettin a rock in there can ruin your entire engine . . and you'll be out a b-series motor . . then what??

this CF Shield Cover is an awesome idea, and it looks pretty clean too!

Idunno if I'd rock it. It reminds me of those mickey mouse hats you can get at Disney Land. Oh and the price is not crackin' either.

PMP Designs got ******* greedy! 2 Years ago I send a valve cover to get the moon cut it was 30 bucks = 15 for shipping. All they do is put a template on the valve cover and cut it. I wanted to have another valve cover done this week, and find out they have raised the price to 100 dollars. Here is their response..

"Unfortunately, manufacturing cost have greatly increased and this has forced us to also increased our price. Although we do apologize if this is an inconvenience to you, we did notice that it hasn't affected our sales but increased them. Odd? Perhaps, I know this is not good for the customer but understand we are not making more but the same profit margin as we were 1 year ago when the prices increased" B*LLSHIT... I was going to get one, but not now...
